And of course, you must be asking…… how are the cats?!!

Well here they are! They’ve grown into lovely animals – no longer climbing curtains and creating havoc! And now the builders have gone, they’re in a lot more. Tonto is still a scaredy cat, but much better than he was, and he has a fascination for wires – just looking at them, sometimes leaping over them – very odd puss and such an umpa lumpa! Yoyo is quite normal, still very small, but very affectionate and quite unlike her brother, she is fearless! Here’s some updated pics of the two of them….. The cats

And this one…

You Can't Catch Me!
Another commission, which was done as a gift for an 8 year old little girl. Her brief was owls and roses! Again this is in acrylic with some collage. The bigger leaves on the tree are the Honesty flower seed heads, and again I have used the light moulding paste pushed through a flower stencil at the bottom of the picture. Grass stems are glued at the base of the tree. Anything goes with this kind of painting….. I must do more of it! You Can't Catch Me!

A couple of commissions:

New Beginnings
This first was for a young couple just starting up in their first home together, so it’s called ‘New Beginnings’. I had a brief which included flowers, and anything relevant to  – well – new beginnings! This is one of my collages with acrylic paint, lots of stamping and stencilling. I’ve used light moulding paste pushed through a rose stencil for the roses at the bottom of the painting. And the black circular-like blobs on the right are dried acrylic paint, over painted with black. New Beginnings
